I haven’t purchased any games for the Wii, opting to stick with the basic Sports pack. I have a kind of “love-hate” thing with video games. I enjoy playing them, but they usually frustrate the crap out of me; resulting in embarrassing, temperamental outbursts. But, this post from Jason Kottke got me all kinds of excited which in turn lead me to this and this. Wow.

I’ve been a fan of the cart racing game ever since Crash Team Racing on the original PlayStation so Mario Kart Wii looks like a no-brainer. The ‘net connectivity is a huge plus too with leagues, rankings, etc. And, a new Ghostbusters game? Yes, please. I didn’t realize that Force Unleashed was even coming to the Wii. Pardon me while I squeal with girlish delight.

Must start saving money for these. Or perhaps some kind soul will see fit to purchase one of these titles for an upcoming birthday or other gift-giving holiday.

This has spread around the blogosphere like wildfire today. Muxtape is simple; upload twelve songs and share them with the world. Legality questions aside, this is a pretty cool, fun service. I’ve uploaded my first mixtape, something simple, most frequently played songs no duplicate artists.
