PB&J Meme

Answering the siren song of the latest internet meme from my good friend, Eric, over at Advise and Dissent, How do you make your peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

Peanut butter: JIF and only JIF (creamy will do, but I loves me some Extra Crunchy)
Jelly: Grape or Strawberry
Bread: Usually good ole’ white bread. But a nice honey wheat works too
Crust: On (!)
Cut: No thanks
Preparation: Apply peanut butter to one slice of bread. “Clean” knife by wiping on second slice. Dole out the jelly. Lay those two pieces together. (Can be adapted to the “triple decker;” place a jellied slice in-between two peanut butter slices. Warning, super tasty!)

Snow Car

I’ve been working 12+ hour days for the past two weeks. Really dreadful stuff. One night last week almost made it worthwhile, though.

It snowed.

Our first snow of the season (yay South Carolina!). The night was truly beautiful, glowing slightly as the stark white snow reflected the moonlight and street lamps. I didn’t have my point and shoot, but I was able to caption some nice moments on my mobile phone.

I even recorded a short video of my car ride home.

(Vimeo.com is like the cleaner, well-kempt cousin to YouTube’s slovenly hillbilly. I’ve liked my experience there so far. Good, artsy stuff. Polite, meaningful comments.)
