This list was actually, not that hard to come up with. I didn’t listen to much music as a kid, but I did listen to “Weird Al.” I own In 3-D on vinyl and many of the others on cassette tape. My first CD purchase was a “Weird Al” album. I’m not proud…
All of the songs in my top 10 are pre-1996 with the exception of 1999s Running with Scissors. I stopped keeping up with “Weird Al” in High School and college as I found new and arguably better music and as his parodies started to reflect the pop music of the early 2000s.
Looking over the lists, I’m surprised by the similarities, but more surprised by the differences. I’ve always thought that “Weird Al’s” originals songs were some of his strongest.

Oh, I forgot about Midnight Star. Good one. My first CD was Weird Al’s first album. I already had In 3-D , Polka Party, and Even Worse on cassette. Oddly enough, I never replaced those with CDs. Two Christmases ago I got the DVD with all his music videos up to that time. Always liked those, I did.
